Saying "I Do" in style: tips for finding the perfect Barn wedding venue

Barn wedding venues can offer a unique and intimate setting for your special day, but if done poorly, your worst fears may be realized.

Fear not, let us guide you through the process so you can choose the best rustic barn venue for your special day. From the rustic charm of exposed beams (like the ones we use to make our barnwood wedding rings) to the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape, a barn wedding venue can provide the perfect backdrop for your ceremony and reception.

Imagine exchanging your vows in front of a picturesque barn, surrounded by your closest family and friends. The warmth of the wood and the natural light streaming in through the windows create a cozy and inviting atmosphere. As you dance the night away, the twinkling lights overhead and the sounds of laughter and music fill the air.

Choosing the right barn wedding venue is crucial to making your dream wedding a reality. Here are a few tips to help you find the perfect venue:

   Consider the location.

You want a venue that is easily accessible for your guests and offers a beautiful and serene setting, not a still working animal barn, but more on that later in the "nightmares" column.

   Think about the size.

Make sure the venue can comfortably accommodate all of your guests and has enough space for your ceremony and reception.

  Consider the amenities.

Look for a venue that has all the all you need, such as restrooms, lighting and sound, and catering.

  Take a tour.

Visit the venue in person to get a feel for the space and ask any questions you may have.

Take special notes of any "red flags" We attended a wedding ceremony as guests held at a barn venue that was still a working barn with animals in the lower portion! You know what animals do in barns right? Also, be sure to take note of the changing area for the bride/bridesmaids if needed, you don't want to makeshift a privacy curtain in the corner of the barn.

By considering these factors and doing some research, you can find the perfect barn wedding venue for your special day.
