Take special notes of any "red flags" We attended a wedding ceremony as guests held at a barn venue that was still a working barn with animals in the lower portion! You know what animals do in barns right? Also, be sure to take note of the changing area for the bride/bridesmaids if needed, you don't want to makeshift a privacy curtain in the corner of the barn.
