This oak barnwood comes from the timber framing of a local barn built in the early 1880's and fallen into disrepair from neglect.

While the barn was junk, the old wood is still awesome and better than new wood that can be bought today as the old growth wood this ring is made from is much more dense and strong than new cut wood.
